sedan was released in january 1988 according to wikipedia ( hatchback was in october 1987 ) would make sense as we always get them late and we had them for 1989 -- Last edit: 2017-07-08 19:20:47 |

Interestingly, Philippines only got the sedan, as shown here. US mostly got hatchbacks. The Dodge/Plymouth badged cars were hatchback only. The sedan was only available under the "eagle Summit" and Mitsubishi Mirage lines, which also included the hatchback. So, Mitsubishi sold it under the Mirage name here with a larger array of body styles, and the "Lancer" name in the Philippines, just as a sedan-shown here. Confused yet? How about the fact that now, Philippines AND US each have both "Mirage" AND "Lancer" lines sold side by side. -- Last edit: 2017-12-07 23:45:45 |
