![]() Bus is southbound on 961 Ullapool to Inverness run. Blurry plate looks a bit like B5 YET - seems 5 digits with x5 xET the most definite and B and Y open to doubt. Update - plate is S9 YST (as found below). -- Last edit: 2017-06-07 19:23:30 |

"S9 YST is a Volvo B11R/Caetano Winner new as a Volvo demonstrator registered as 12-D-25433. It was on long term loan to First Aircoach in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. It later worked for Edwards, Llantwit Fardre in the UK as BP12 ZBD before joining the D&E Coaches fleet in Inverness as S9 YST. It is seen here in Inverness bus station in Scottish Citylink livery whilst working service 961 (Inverness-Ullapool)....... Actually a Caetano Winner. Levante is a National Express Trademark therefore can only be given to vehicles bought for National Express work, everything else gets the Winner name or CT650....... From what I was told (but this bit I can't verify) it was the first UK vehicle to be built to B11R spec, this was a long term demo, spent about 6 months with Aircoach, the whole interior was done out to Aircoach spec with same colour scheme as their other vehicles which is pretty unusual for a demo." from https://www.flickr.com/photos/busmanscotland/32126253976 |
