It has for sure the White ★ Western Star script on the side, and almost all source agree to say that it's an early face. But the truck you give a link to, ExceedingLimits, is one of the four 4764 "identifications" that have been made for now in the IMCDb, and these ones: - show also 3 other trucks that are really different; - were made by 2 untrustworthy persons (who often invented things and gave therefore erroneous ids) and a third one that I'd place in the "people with questionable knowledge" until further checking. More over, this kind of truck is also called 4900 by others (here and here, but without any source either), so it be would certainly "safer" to make some more searches before giving an identification. And according to White / Western Star nomenclature, the single rear axle will give it 42 for the end of its model code (4x2WD), not 64 (6x4WD). -- Last edit: 2017-08-27 16:15:37 |
