cl82 ◊ 2016-03-19 14:08	Now that was new to me. I knew they were assembled in Australia by by Australian Motor Industries but I had never heard about the connection with Ducati. Now I've just done some internet research to find out more about the subject. Thanks a lot!
dsl ◊ 2016-03-19 14:45	Have now found several more made-in-I Spitfires - all Spitfire 4, except one early Mk2 . Never thought of Aus assembly before, but it makes sense alongside all the other AMI Standard and Triumph lines. This site says Mk1, 2 and 3 were made, but we have none identified in our collection. Anyone fancy pulling out relevant sightings in Aus films?? I've had a quick look but none of the film titles leapt out at me as Aus.
