The rear end only looked looked like this on very few Mercedes: - 1961 - 65 190 C [W110 B I] - 1961 - 65 190 DC [W110 D I] - 1965 - 68 200 [W110 B II] - 1965 - 68 200 D [W110 D II] - 1959 - 65 220 B [W111/1] The 230 [W110 B III] had two more chrome strips above and beneath the rear lights and the rest of the 220 [W111] had different rear lights and much more ornaments. But having that said, I believe, if my eyes are not betraing me, I can read a '1' in the beginnig of the badge, with only three digits, and no D or DIESEL badge, it's a 1961-65 190c [W110 B I]. |

190 is written. Those orizontal red stripes were for the Israeli market but such car, despite the obviously fake Arab plate, was probably for the Danish market, judging by the right DK script. -- Last edit: 2013-12-24 15:15:21 |

Poor attempt on making a fake Iraq license plate: http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/world/AS_IRAQ.html |

Why 1962? Production started in April 1961. Why "Made for Israel"? The sticker can be put on any car. Not enough significance to differ if from cars sold in any other country, according to my opinion. -- Last edit: 2013-12-24 22:43:57 |

Any other view? If we would see the "made for DK"-side indicators, it would be clear. Masses of used W110-Benzes were exported from Europe to the Near East in the 70ies, so a DK-version would be very reasonable. |
