It's not a Clenet. |

There's a name on the sign in the back; any chance of a better look? The 'D' logo and the louvered hood may suggest Diamante, but the exhausts don't match. |

The ’D’ in the logo seems to stand for Desande, a small European manufacturer; as far as I know, they introduced their V8-engined roadster at the end of the seventies, and built it in limited numbers in the next few years. |

Yes that seems right, good find: http://thumbsnap.com/BrCJrLVr http://users.telenet.be/citrobe/pictures/Desande.JPG From what I can find it was designed by a Belgian: http://www.motorbase.com/manufacturer/by-id/254323543 and built by Grand Prix Metalcraft who did some, shall we say, interesting things to Range Rovers: Link to "www.range-rover-classic.com" -- Last edit: 2013-04-04 21:11:29 |
