The location on the right thumbnail is the Autobahn-gas station Hamm-Rhynern on the A2 from Dortmund to Hannover and Berlin. It's original from the 30ies. Nowadays it's a preserved building. In the last months the whole Autobahn and this rest-area was rebuilt, but this house has to be saved. So it's still there. But the gas-pumps are now at the modern station. |

There are at least two different Volvo N12 appearing in this movie - in the second last scene of the movie, on the ferry in Italy, there it a RHD-version. Which indicates, that the story has not ended... |
