My guess is that, today 90% of the surviving 504 Break have jobs like here. And here /vehicle_226791-Peugeot-504-Break-1971.html :D

In some countries, I believe Peugeot still make them today! This looks like a pretty late version.

Must be really tough wagons...and probably quite roomy too.

And ingo, I heard you wanted a freaky and obscure wagon?... :D

No problem for me, I would choose a 504 Break without hesitation :) But the first problem is to get one, as they are all gone to Africa since years. The second problem is, here in Europe it became already a classic car, so it would be a shame, if I would park it outside. The garage is blocked by my wife's car, so the K 70 is stored in a farmer's barn in the next village :/

But I'm glad, that once I had the chance to make the real authentic 504 Break-experience - it was a totally worn out taxi-wreck in Cairo. The front axle ws so gone, that the driver had to turn the steering wheels always from the right to the left and back, just for holding the straight direction. My wife was panicked, but I had great fun :D

:/ The 504 is so disappeared, that it's not even listed here any more: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/
At mobile.de the model is still there, but these are all offers: Link to "suchen.mobile.de" Can it be, that the Dutch dealer is a bit nuts? Even if it's a mint car, the price is absurd.

The 504 was discontinued in 2008. "La dernière 504 tombé des chaînes du Nigeria" was sent to the Musée Peugeot.

Is the Peugeot-Museum worth a visit? Was someone of us already there? Link to "www.musee-peugeot.com"

If yes, you can pack it into the bunch of interesting car-museums in the wider area there  Maybe an idea for 130rapid's next museum-roundtrip. I'll ask him tomorrow about that ones, he had seen in the last two days ;)

I was there a few years ago, and I was a bit disappointed. But that's because my personal favorite Peugeots (the X02-series) were badly represented with only 3 or 4 cars. Though I did like the spectacular CD with 204 engine! (it looks like the CD race cars with Panhard engine ;) )

no 1: 1653 €
no 2: 2088 €
no 3: 2523 €

...not really cheap for such untended clunkers. O.k., you have told us before about the high prices in Argentina. Much worse, totally absurd for imported cars :/
