I´ve just noticed, that a few Vauxhall Astra Mk V are listed as: German origin, made for GB
Others are listed as: origin GB
Actually it´s german origin but made for GB. Or not?

That is strange.

I always consciously list them as Origin Germany Made for GB so I have no idea why this one is listed as Origin GB.

Almost every Vauxhall Astra Mk V is listed as origin GB.

Indeed looking at the list of all Astras the only ones listed as origin Germany have been uploaded by me!

Ah thanks. So the story continues: the production runs parallel in the three EU-plants (so not Russia), all versions and trim lines parallel (maybe some exceptions, as in the past, too. Like the Astra G Sedan, which was exclusively built in Poland. Or the Cabriolets, which all were built by Bertone in Italy). So the VIN-number is the only chance to see, where the specific car was made.

P.S. There is one difference to the previous Astra-generations: The plant in Antwerpen is not existing any more. In December 2010 the last Belgian assembled GM-car has left the line.

Astra G sedan was not exclusively built in Poland - it was (still is) Astra H sedan made only here, well but this we already solved last time.
