Probably true, as the two thumbnails show a well-known monument from Brussels, "Le cinquantenaire"
few pictures

Yes I already went there few times. It is not far from where I live (as Brussels is not very big). I live in the north-west, and when I go to the east/nort-east of the city, and I pass under it (in a tunnel that pass under it, but the monument is visible just before entering the tunnel) .

Can you check if the bus is still running and ask the driver what it is?

:D for sure it is not running. Maybe that it is in some museum. But I only know where is the tramway museum, I do not know where old busses can be seen.

Actually it seems that this museum is not only for tram
See on that page : http://www.stib.irisnet.be/FR/52000f.htm
The bus looks similar but there is not much info on their site :/

Ragheno/Brossel AB6DS
Chassis by Brossels, Bruxelles - carrosserie by Ragheno, Malines.

The chassis were manufactured before WWII by Brossels, Bovy & Pipe in Brussels, then hidden from the Nazis and finished to complete buses after the war.

@ Antoine - But the museum could be a nice weekend trip, anyway, for a car freak. ;)
The museum web pages contained a subtle hint on the make - it was hidden in the PDF description...
@ Jean-Marc - De rien. :D

Rendez-vous à prendre et thème de discussion pour le W.E prochain. Et même si quelques extra-européens peuvent venir...

the main pictures was taken in the famous Cogels-Osylei in Berchem (Antwerp).
This Brossel AB-6DS is still in running order and part of the MTUB collection in Brussels. Worthwhile a visit!
