The fact that 1½-tonners were popular in export markets and produced in quantity makes them equally likely as 2-ton. Probable location the Carter Bridge, Lagos, Nigeria. Similar number-plates with 'L' as first letter, single-file bicycles riding on the pavement, even the building in the far distance is probably the same. Lane usage seems different 3-inward 1-outward as compared with 2 and 2. Lamps alongside the bridge with the same tapered bases. Nigeria gained independence from the United Kingdom, but remained a part of the British Commonwealth, on 1 October 1960.
