White This has to be a rare find it was imported in 2000, but it's a 1987 special series for abroad, but I can't find the right one. Was it called White as said by the build sheet, or is it a case like the Young/Elegante/Ricco we recently met? The only one named as such that I can find was a 1985 Belgian special edition still based on the first generation (http://www.auto-pub.net/ASL/Fiat/page_Fiat_Panda_White_85_B.htm), then there was the British 1990 Bianca (http://www.auto-pub.net/ASL/Fiat/page_Fiat_Panda_Bianca_Nera_90.htm), but that wasn't a 4x4 (and these were only available, you don't say, in white even if the subject car likely has been repainted, as it has a replaced trunk from a CL if I see well). In 1987 there was the French 4x4 Val d'Isere edition which was available in red: http://www.auto-pub.net/ASL/Fiat/page_Fiat_Panda_4x4_Val-Isere.htm but but this car appears to lack all its characteristics (still probably it was repainted. I believe the build sheets seems to say it was originally white in the last line). Of course there could have been other editions that I couldn't remember or find anything about.@AleX_DJ, @electra225, what do you think? ![]() |

Well, first at all carter-cash reported again a wrong info, because this is not a 4x4 but a FWD (confirmed by build sheet)I believe that special series denominations of Fiat models in build sheets are precise only for what concerns Italian editions, for export models they probably use a generic/internal term, because the customizazion is usually made by the local importer/branch. Build sheet reports a 1000 L based, but the script on the car says 1000 CL (okay, it could have been replaced later). A special edition which seems to match by details and paint is the German 1000 CL-based Garda, which debuted in September for MY 1988. Anyway, this unit was built in February (although it could have been bought in stock by Fiat Deutschland for customization). https://autoprospektesammlung.de/fiat-panda-garda-sondermodell-10-87/ The French Shopping is almost identical and was launched about at the same time, but it's based on the 750 L http://www.auto-pub.net/ASL/Fiat/page_Fiat_Panda_Shopping_87.htm |

I read 4x4 and not 4x2 also on the build sheet anyway I believe this car has unoriginal parts, so I'd trust more the build sheet which says it's L based and not CL maybe another shot, if available, could help.. |

This list includes all the Panda [141A] versions listed in official build sheets. This mysterious 'White 87' model seems to have been available as carburetted 1000 (L-based) or 750 (CL-based), and was probably relaunched in 1988 in both trims but only with the 1000 Fire engine Don't know if this helps, anyway, as said, this could be only an internal denomination to identify similar special series with different names depending to the markethttps://fiat.7zap.com/en/gin/lv/ |

Yes, I'm thinking too it's a generic name that regroups all certain similar editions, as you said. Anyway, excellent source, I'll take a better look at it later ![]() |

@bux_48: I'm giving a look to that list, I'm noticing that other special series are listed as L-based, as like the Dance, which in fact is not ![]() |
