Maybe Vignale:

This is the Farina one

If you mean this one rear window doesn't match. I'd agree with late 40s Stabilimenti Farina design though. But can't find a match with Italian makes at least.

Maybe that's it. Not S. Farina after all.
Compare: [Image: 1948_1100bvignale.jpg] Bumper, lights and plate surround don't quite match but this is not unusual in limited edition coachbuilts.

I think it's very unlikely that Vignale did both single and split versions so..

If plate "MI 132311" is genuine, the car was registered in 1949

I agree that it is probably not the one-off 1100 B Vignale but instead a very close coachbuilt sister car with identical interior and similar bodywork. Will list this as a 1949 Fiat, without any pictures or documentation we cannot ID this further for now

I vote for Vignale, those bumpers are Vignale signature items. Often thrown away as thought to look oldfashioned and clumsy. Vignale did not use permanent tools so it was normal to make very small batches of each model, many were unique.

The split windscreen seems to have been always there if you look at pictures on the Luzzago site of how it was found before restoration. So maybe Vignale made a very similar second copy with single piece...?

Edit: I thought it is a model 1951-52, but then found this photo showing a Fiat Vignale 1949. It is the same design, either unique car or a very small series. The design is amazingly modern with sculpted bumpers and one-piece windshield.

For me that's proof enough, still I'm keeping a bookmark on this ... At the time a 1100 E would be the base car.

[Image: salone-dellautomobile-di-torino-1948-stand-carrozzeria-vignale-wwwcristianoluzzagoit-brescia-italy-1.jpg] -this is the Luzzago link 1-off Vignale in the 1948 unveiling with split windscreen and different un-Vignale(?) bumper.
