Early Mk.X without boot badges should be 3.8, but it's this one, listed as 1966 and registered PTN 76F ( ), although some of the pics there show 685 WTG plate. But it gets worse We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided JAGUAR 420 G 1968 Registration number: PTN 76F Body type: Saloon Colour: Silver Date of first registration: January 1968 420 G chrome side strip and boot badges missing, but central grille bar, fogs and hubcaps with Jag head (seen in pics on the DAV site) all go with 420 G rather than Mk.X.
Sunbar ◊ 2021-10-16 22:13	The car is Colin Jordan's (Rory Kinnear) with some of the action in the series depicting real life events in 1962, therefore Mk.X is more acceptable than a 420G. But was it specially modified for the series or a fortunate choice?
