According to Wikipedia, "the LO812 was sold in Australia from the early 1990s". But it appears that LO912s (as buses or only as chassis?) buses were also sold in the Continent Island (several are indeed listed here)... The fact that "912 only" is apparently used as generic name (see here or here) in Australia may explain why MisterZ used it to identify this bus? As T2, a 1986-96 model, anyway. → 1986 Mercedes-Benz LO [T2]? (for accuracy, as there's no way to know if it is a 812 or a 912) → 1986 Mercedes-Benz LO 912 [T2]?
