Seddon or Foden(?) followed by Austin K2 5-tonner.
I like the fully risk-assessed train running through the town. Bit like Santander.

The traffic doesn't like it. Nor do the town planners - the film says this is a big problem for the town's future.

Yes it's a Seddon. Maybe a MK 5
Agree Austin behind but bigger than K2 ( Number corresponded to load capacity approximately)

^behind yes, 1946-1949 Austin K4 4-5 ton tipper; the K2 was not produced as a short (112") wheelbase chassis.

Mk.V 1947-1950 the same model was renamed Mk.5 after 1951, given the movie date this could be a Mk. IV also the headlights look to be mounted externally.
