dsl ◊ 2016-05-04 23:56	No front spoiler so before Dec 73, but has big block bumpers. So 73 Mk4 my best guess. Not sure what the wheels are nor of dates for Leyland side badge, but 73 about right.
dlkawashima ◊ 2026-10-22 10:10	There were three types of 5 mph bumpers used on the North American Spitfire 1500: 1) 1974 Spits have arrowhead-shaped overriders; 2) 1975-1978 have large, block shaped overriders; 3) 1979 and 1980 have fully covered, humongous rubber bumpers. This Spitfire is from the 1975-1978 variation, but it's easy to determine the model year because the slotted wheels on this car were standard for only the 1976 model year. This is a 1976 Spitfire 1500 for the North American market.
