Series 3 Standard Steel saloon.

Possibly a Rolls-Royce, but the radiator looks odd, so it may be a tonsed-up Bentley.

First seen with Paris registration ('made for France' lights), thereafter with supposedly British registration

I noticed they actually used two entirely different cars, this one seems worth listing separately (**)

The first thumbnail for the other car is in London (Westminster Bridge), but the second thumbnail looks like a French location. The one way sign is completely fake. I would imagine, then, that the Westminster Bridge shot is the only one with a different car.

London Bridge shot has tax disc and is the only obvious RHD. Most/all others are LHD, but there are LHD with and without whitewalls. agree with jfs that grille on main looks slightly odd but seems OK in other views, so maybe screen quirk rather than real?? So possibly 3 cars - 1 RHD on the bridge and 2 LHD with/without whitewalls.

ADS 1 is now a blue 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V10 Tdi Auto first used on the road on 1 September 2004. But the plate looks very fake anyway.

London car is a long wheelbase saloon, compare the size and shape of the window in the back door with the "French" car, which also has no mascot. The car under the one way sign is a standard steel saloon. Also, the French car in the main picture has a suspicious looking join where the two colours on the bonnet meet the radiator shoulder. It never matches on converted Bentleys due to the curve of the bonnet being set for the round shoulders of the Bentley radiator rather than the sharp crease on the Royce. Neither the London car, nor the café car has this quirk.

I think I've found the explanation - every so often it goes into this Rolls-Royce Transmogrifier ..

... and each time it comes out with a different configuration - SWB/LWB, LHD/RHD, grille swapping, whitewalls or not etc.
