International Harvester, and I'd like to say it's a BC, but I don't think so.

It's a Transtar 400 or such from the '60s.

Tandem rear axle, so with an F: 1963-68 DCF-400 or 1969-71 Transtar DCF-400:

There is apparently no difference between the 2 models. 1963 IH DCF-400 as default identification?

400 Series name for the 1963-68 models:

Could the gas tank shape be a clue to tell one model over the other?

From '68-'72 there was a badge that ran full length under the doors that read "Transtar 400". In '68 the majority of the IH medium and heavy duty trucks received names ending with "star".

Transtar had a flat dash top, while the previous had a raised centre piece

Badge at the door bottom also seems to be present
