V6 is redundant. All 1992-2000 were V6 here in USA. The difference was which engine was affixed. We had a 3.0 V6 [V43W] and the 3.5 V6 [V45W]. Depends on trim level and year. The only motor in 1992 was the 3.0 V6 [V43W] per: https://www.carsdirect.com/1992/mitsubishi/montero/specs |
