1970 Montego Sedan ◊ 2023-07-25 19:31	It's not a 1988 model, it's a "1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria". I can back this up by the pillar trim, that's an 89 to 91 feature, it can't be a 91 because it doesn't have clear turn signals, and it can't be a 1990 because it has the 88-89 Police Hubcaps which don't fit on the 1990-91 Rim since the rim size was changed, 1989 would also make the most sense because if the show aired in 1990 the car was most likely a 1989 model bought on clearance in late 1989 or early 1990 at a ford dealership and modded up to resemble the 1990 Ford LTD Crown Victoria's LAPD was using in real life at the time before they started filming in the spring and summer of 1990 since episode one was filmed on 2-18-90.
