I think this is an LX with EX wheels. Black mirror and black molding are LX properties. Plus this is puerto rico. Chances are the wheels were added. |

The Puerto Rican car market seems to be very similar to the American market, with a few exceptions (ex: they sell the current generation Mazda 2 hatchback there, even though it isn't sold in the U.S.). Not entirely sure on whether or not Honda changed the trims for its models. What I do know however, is that silver paint was only offered on these vans from 2001 onwards. Edit: Just checked Honda's Puerto Rican website and the trims for the current Odyssey are the same as the ones used in the U.S. (Though for some reason, the Puerto Rican site still has some pictures of the old 2014-2017 Odyssey up). Still I can't be sure about what trims they used in the late 1990's/early 2000's unless I find a scan of a Puerto Rican brochure. Regarding the lack of roof rails on this example, I do know that the Japanese-market Lagreat (basically a JDM version of this) didn't come with roof rails but did have alloys, due to its positioning a luxury vehicle in Japan. -- Last edit: 2019-03-27 02:26:17 |
