Introduced Feb 94 in Merit and LS trims with 1389cc 58bhp petrol or 1686cc 58bhp diesel. LS had side trim, so this is Merit. |

^ @dsl there was also a late run SE trim before the face lift. Not sure if we can tell the difference between the SE vs LS. I do agree about everything you said above. Link to "vauxpedia.net" |

^ info found. SE was Aug 96, based on Merit with tints, white paint, bodyside mouldings, listed only for 1.7 diesel. Also May 97 Epic edition, no info but available on both engines. Facelift on van was Feb 98 until Sept 99 all Merit/LS versions stopped. Replaced by single version GLS diesel with tints and cabin upgrades until Aug 2001 replacement by next gen/phase with lots of engine choices but apparently only one (un-named) trim level. |
