1947-55 GMC New Design / Chevrolet Advance-Design indeed. The electric pole prevents to see if it is a 1947-53 2-piece windshield or a 1954-55 one-piece model. Anyway, there was no tandem rear axle in the Chevrolet truck line: this kind of axle was only available for the heavy-duty models (2½-ton and above), which were only made by GMC. With this cab, and if I don't forget any model, a 1950-51 2½-ton HCW-400, a 1952-54 3-ton W-450 or a 1952-53 3-ton Diesel DW-450. ⇒ 1950 GMC New Design? |
