This was the "GAFANHOTO" (GRASSHOPPER) a Dodge 3/4 ton (WC 51) based rescue truck. I saw it many times in Rio de Janeiro and the front differential is visible in the photo. Looking in the internet, it is possible that a bigger 4 x 4 truck was the base. -- Last edit: 2015-10-30 14:34:38 |

Rather certain the base vehicle is a Ford GTBS with the single rear wheels and bomb hoist visible. |

I agree with Peru. I supposed it was based on the Dodge, because there were lots of Dodge here, but it looks direct to Ford GTBS, which I have never seen. And it is not a Custom made, as I supposed. -- Last edit: 2015-10-30 19:16:40 |
