The one behind it is for sure a 1941 DeSoto, and the 'ladder' may be also. But the main car cannot be a '41 DeSoto because those had suicide rear doors. Still searching. |

Okay, I think the subject car is a 1942 Pontiac Streamliner. The fastback body is typical of a GM product. The 4-door body, small stone guards, front fender fared into the front door, and strip of trim in line with the doorhandles all seem to match '42 Pontiac best. |
