BrentMosher420 ◊ 2015-07-20 05:43	According to Bruce Campbell it really is the same one from the first movie Link to "www.hitfix.com" , although I seem to recall he said the same thing about /vehicle_643039-Oldsmobile-Delta-88-1974.html , so his claims are rather questionable...
BrentMosher420 ◊ 2015-07-22 02:24	Why "see only in preview/trailer"? It will obviously have a big role in the show...
night cub ◊ 2015-07-22 02:41	Have you seen a whole episode yet? No, you are just assuming.

It's pretty much a given that the car will appear in the actual show, especially considering how much screen time it gets in the trailer. -- Last edit: 2015-07-22 06:04:21
BrentMosher420 ◊ 2015-11-01 03:43	Just watched the first episode tonight; so far it gets 4 stars (or maybe even 5 eventually). -- Last edit: 2015-11-09 03:13:30

aussiemuscle308 ◊ 2017-01-14 20:55	I'm glad they finally had an episode concentrating on the Delta. it looked awesome covered in flames and blood! BrentMosher420 wrote According to Bruce Campbell it really is the same one from the first movie .. Sam Raimi currently owns four Delta 88s.

GodzillaFan54 ◊ 2017-05-21 07:19	I'm not surprised that Ash has an Aerostream trailer. It really suits him and the car!
Skid ◊ 2017-06-20 06:14	According to the DVD special features, multiple cars are used for shooting the show (at least four), and Raimi's original Delta is NOT used (per the show's producer, "Raimi still has the original locked up somewhere, but it's not in New Zealand"). -- Last edit: 2017-06-20 06:16:12
the sad biker ◊ 2017-06-20 12:07	Is there something special about '73 Delta 88's or is it this one in particular? It just looks like a typical lump of 70's Yankee metal, designed in that period when the stylists of those fabulous cars from the 50's & 60's had lost their eyesight?
Commander 57 ◊ 2017-06-20 14:14	Well, this Yankee likes them. (Although I agree that the '50's and '60's cars were more appealing, style-wise.)
Skid ◊ 2017-06-21 01:17	the sad biker wrote Is there something special about '73 Delta 88's or is it this one in particular? Sam Raimi inherited one from his parents, which he dubs "The Classic," and puts it in every one of his movies, hence why Ash drove it in all of the Evil Dead movies. Even when he, Bruce Campbell, and the rest of the gang made amateur Super 8 movies in high school, that specific car always had a starring role in them. There's nothing all that special or unusual about it; it's just another Honey Beige Delta 88 Royale 4 door hardtop with base beige vinyl interior. But it's still well-known among fans of this franchise/director, and it's still interesting among car nuts like me to follow the car's history. -- Last edit: 2017-06-21 01:20:36
