To clarify the post on my website, the 'Beverley Bar' type body on the East Yorkshire buses refers to the famous Beverley Bar in Beverley, East Yorkshire. The upper decks were tapered inwards to allow buses to pass underneath: http://i.imgur.com/z7WMYLp.jpg. Even lowheight doubledeckers like the AEC Renown and Leyland Atlantean were built this way for East Yorkshire. |
