1965 or later AK 400 (high roof). The horizontal bars of the grille has been introduced to the 2CV in 1965. The other vans had a low roof. That's what i got from wikipedia ;-) |

Strange wikipedia.. The high roof was new for 1970, and indeed for AK400 only (although there has been a rare 1970 a high-roof version of th AK350 in Spain, with small ribs on the side). This grille was indeed introduced in 1965, for model year 1966. It is strange that this car is called 3CV (in night cub's link), as 3CV was only used in Argentina, and this appears to be a European version. It has a longer than normal rear side window, so I'm pretty sure it is a rare Spanish built AK400 four-seater. I yjink the colour is bleu névé (AC 609), whach was availabl until 1970. |
