And so is the scene, of course. |

Some new shots from the official BMW spot. According to the new front LEDs, looks like it's 2016 M3. |

I have no link right now, but there are photos on the web from the set being disassembled, including a semi-truck with 8 more or less heavily damaged BMWs |

Please be a replica or a regular 3 series... -- Last edit: 2015-09-22 09:43:59 |

Perhaps BMW gave them prototype or pre-production "0-series" cars that would be scrapped anyway. A big chase scene like this will use multiple cars to show different levels of damage and allow for retakes. -- Last edit: 2015-08-10 14:14:47 |

They've used that on the BMW M3 F80's first release, and are still using them on the new one, so you can't really tell unless you look at the rear taillights. |

They used also standard F30 while filming with fake bumpers. Not same rims with main pic. -- Last edit: 2023-10-30 14:19:55 |

This also has a V8 NA engine, which it would normally hsve by this time a TT Straght 6. But thats not unusual because they dubbed a 4cyl sound over a street triple triumph in MI3 |
