Front door moldings are only removed by law enforcement agencies to accommodate certain decal schemes. For example, the CHP has always used markings that take up the entire front door so they have never really had front door molding. But back then it wasn't as common as it is now since the decal schemes were by and large much simpler before the mid 90's and therefore did not require that the molding be deleted. |
