Please see the second sentence in the linked Wikipedia article. Quote Starting in 2008 the "thousand series" name was dropped in favor of the WorkStar.
Truck117 ◊ 2015-01-19 18:30	What threw me off was the lack of mufflers. Look at the exhaust and you'll see the lack of a muffler. 2007-2008 the US EPA required DPFs (diesel particulate filter) on all diesels. They act as a catalytic converter and subsequently also acts as a muffler.
