electra225 ◊ 2015-01-17 15:05	Italian makes didn't consider model years but series and "maquillages" inside the series. I would consider this a late 1980. The same happened with US built Chrysler products for 1949. Untill March you had the same vehicles as in 1948 and after the brand new "true" 1949 models. Do you name 1949 those ones with the same aspects of 1948? I would shift to 1980 for this car. The plate doesn't mean anything. Are you sure it was not built in early 1980 and waited a lot of time in the dealer park sites ?
