First reaction was 77+ tints, and a smile for another Clubman Estate in I. Then a longer look - no Clubman script within sticker across right rear door - compare eg /vehicle_48612-Mini-Clubman-Estate-ADO20-1980.html, plus badge on left door (which I can't read). So 81+ 1000 HL Estate but still with grille badge before 82 change. So 81 only 1000 HL Estate (unless any other local name). And a nice find. |

The badge on left door reads "Collina", which is a car dealership in Rome. http://www.collina.com/ |

1980 because for '81 came the HL with a new Leyland orizontal badge (the oneof the early Metros). |

RM U07275 is an 10/04/1978 plate, and it returns only the chassis number, which is XC2W2519749A and the fact that it was scrapped 20/12/1994. I used this: Link to "www.minimania.com" and I decoded: X = non significant C = 1098cc 2W = Estate 2 = Clubman 5 = not sure what it should mean? 19749 = serial A = Longbridge @dsl so a 1978 Mini Clubman Estate? |

Fine by me. 1098cc was normal until 81 so it fits. I'll worry about logos within stickers another day ... |
