Looks like a C suffix plate (ABC 123C format) which should be 1965. Our first non-Continental S3 DHC, which is where it gets interesting: - "1286 Bentley S3 (1 was fitted was fitted with a drophead coupé body by H.J. Mulliner)" - http://www.rrab.com/bs3.htm#top - "Only two original S3 drop head coupes were built in right hand drive, both of which are now owned by the Sultan of Brunei" - http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C489816 So is this a unique or near-unique car?? Or an angle-grinder conversion?? |
