This car belonged to Frank Griga who and his fiancée, Krisztina Furton were murdered by the Sun Gym Gang at Adrian "Noel" Doorbal's apartment in Miami Lakes on the afternoon of the 24th May 1995. Frank Griga had originally came to the United States from Hungary, settling down in Miami, where he made his fortune in the phone-sex business, and was known to frequent one of the local strip club called Solid Gold where he would hire the strippers to appear in his Griga's commercials for his phone-sex business. It is where he met Krisztina Futon who worked there as a stripper. Like Griga, Krisztina Furton was originally from Hungary where she was swimmer, athlete, and model, at the age of 20, she immigrated to the United States, settling down in Miami. According the Miami Police Homicide Squad report, After Schiller left Miami, the gang wanted a new source of income, so they turned to Frank Griga who the gang met through Griga's former girlfriend and former stripper, Beatriz Weiland who was Doorbal's girlfriend. In the months before his death, Griga and the gang met twice at Griga's house twice. The gang later invited Griga and his fiancée, Krisztina Furton to gang member, Adrian Doorbal's apartment where he had refused to sign over his business and property to them, and led Griga to get into a fight with Doorbal and in the ensuring struggle, Doorbal grabbed a blunt object and hitting Griga before strangling him and killing by injecting him with the sedative, Rompun. When Furton saw the killing, she started screaming so the gang's leader, Daniel Lugo restrained her and started doping her with horse tranquilizers in order to get information but she started to refused to answer any more of the gang's questions, so Lugo gave her a third dose of tranquilizers and unfortunately, this third dose was enough to kill her. After killing Griga and Furton, Lugo and Doorbal then dismembered their bodies and place them in 44 gallon drums and then disposed one drum in a drainage ditch off Interstate 75 in Dade County and the other drum in another ditch near the Everglades. Griga's yellow Lamborghini was later discovered parked off the side of the road in the Everglades by the Florida Highway Patrol on the 27th May 1995. As the Lamborghini turned up in a area that was considered unusual, an investigation was carried out by both Miami-Dade Police and the Golden Beach Police revealed that Griga and Furton were last seen by their neighbour at 10pm on the 24th May who was told by Griga that he and Furton were going to meet Doorbal at a local restaurant in downtown Miami the day they were murdered, but when the investigators checked with the restaurant, the staff revealed that the restaurant was closed. Prior to their murder, both Frank Griga and Krisztina Furton had planned to travel to the Bahamas onboard Griga's yacht, at their home, were the tickets for their trip to the Bahamas. -- Last edit: 2022-02-17 02:07:45 |
