Comments made on the weekends have more risk to be missed, at least by me ;)
In such case (not renamed after a few days despite reliable identification), simply post a new comment or report it on the forum ("General" section -> "Non unidentified" thread)

Duple Metsec only sold kits, not complete vehicles. The bus would have been assembled in Singapore by SBS.

On March 18, 1993, Shanghai Xinxin Automobile Service Company was established as a joint venture between Shanghai Public Transport Corporation and Shanghai China Travel Service. On April 10, 1993, it used second-hand Metal Sections double-decker buses that had previously served in Singapore buses to open two routes: Double-decker Route 1 ( from Laoximen to Hongqiao Road, now Route 911) and Double-decker Route 2 ( from the North Square of the New Railway Station to Pengpu New Village , now Route 912). Before these vehicles arrived in Shanghai, the passenger door (middle door) was changed from the left to the right. In the late 1990s, with the arrival of domestically produced double-decker buses, these Leyland Atlanta buses were gradually retired.

They served in Guangzhou and Shanghai for many years before being retired entirely before 2000.

Our friend here must've just been retired fairly recently, didn't take it too long to find life as an tour bus
