In Germany the Sedan-version of the E-Kadett was generally unpopular - except after 1990 in the former DDR. As other Sedan-version of smaller cars, 90% of the Kadett Stufenheck was sold there. Caused by the "Wartburg-syndrome", as I name it. East Germans, especially elderly one, had a big faible for small and mid-sized Sedans.
