Scrabster ferry check-in. Then follows the VW onto the boat and off in Stromness, during which plate gradually legible as 4670 AT, now on a 2006 BOVA Futura

Very nice captures. I believe this may be one of three Ikarus Blue Danube bodied Volvo B10M-61 coaches new to Allander, Milngavie, in May 1989, which were rebodied with Van Hool T8 Alizée Super High bodywork in 1993 following serious water ingress problems.

I think this film was based from Glasgow; given the way the coach follows the camper into the check-in and then later follows it off the ferry with a small set piece when the VW stalls and coach parps its horn, plus the Milnagvie base, I think this is probably rented as a film crew vehicle.

Not built in the UK - the original Ikarus Blue Danube body was assembled in Hungary while the rebody was carried out by Van Hool in Belgium.
