Fairly sure these are not East African Safari pictures - even the stock footage as there was no 504 in EAS with #9. But they might be ex-EAS cars in other local events ... |

Forgot to say that at start, there was a very prominent "Peugeot" banner (sort of sponsorship?), perhaps this explain why Amin drove the Citroen... |

That's corrrect. Those pics come from the 1977 Ivory Coast Rally. Another clue : SARI is/was Peugeot's importer for the Ivory Coast. https://www.ewrc-results.com/entries/11654-rallye-bandama-cote-divoire-1977/ |
