As far as I understand, this is not a normal Fiat 1400, but a 1953-54 SEAT 1400. The reason why is the side strip at the door handles, which wasn't a feature on the Fiat, but seams to be present on at least some of the SEAT models http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/pics3/s1400_1.jpg and http://www.autoretro.net/seat-1400-1954-.html .
