The blooper reel reveals that the conversation where Harry and Lloyd realize they've lost their hearing was filmed in front of a green screen and the hearse's destruction was CGI, most likely because the amount of hoops that require jumping through to ACTUALLY pulverize a car with a train outweighed just doing it with CG. Note Carry and Daniels' positions, clothes, and Carrey's hunched-over posture in both pictures.
