Has a larger body than a normal-sized step-van. Perhaps an International Harvester? |

It's van built in the late 1980's by the small producer called Precision (visible on main picture grill was probably changed). From the ToolTrucks.com: "This is a Precision-built truck. This Arkansas-based company actually made the Chassis, Body, and Interior in their plant. The smooth ride and handling of this truck was simply amazing, especially on rough roads. It had a tilt wheel and a comfortable drivers seat, ahead of it's time. The interior featured polished and turned aluminum shelf fronts and a huge shelf over the engine area. When it ceased operation in the early 1980's, one of it's key employees, Bill Born, took his experience and knowledge of tool trucks and started Phoenix Commercial Vehicles in Clarksdale, AR. Bill continued to manufacture a lot of his own parts, like a custom liftgate with a tapered platform. If you own a Precision truck, you definitely won't see yourself coming down the road. If you ever get the chance to drive one, take advantage of the opportunity. Simply amazing, very agile for a big truck." |
