eLMeR ◊ 2015-05-27 23:47	1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design platform with the 1947-53 2-piece windshield and grille, plus the 1951+ vent windows. The door handle seems to be the 1947-51 one, which would give this truck a 1951 only model year. Ddey65 wrote The wheelbase is a little short. Maybe it could be a 6100. This truck has the "heavy-duty" hood, bumper and wheel rims, and seems indeed to have the "short" 137"/3.48 m wheelbase (the long one was 161"/4.09 m long), making it a 1½-ton 4100 or a 2-ton 6100 model.
