Nope. Very little of the movie was filmed in NYC. The majority of it was filmed in British Columbia.

The truck is a Canadian built 1980 Pierreville on an International Harvester chassis with Cincinnati cab with a Thibault 30M (90 ft) aerial ladder. Built by Imperial Fire Trucks of Canada, it was originally sold to the Kelowna Fire Department in BC as their Ladder 2.
