Hmm, it appears to have red rear indicators which are illegal in NZ - most RHD conversions have the indicators changed to orange or clear. Maybe in NZ they're more lenient but here in Australia you definitely wouldn't be able to drive this car the way it is. -- Last edit: 2013-11-03 03:48:52 |

Even so, the rear indicators would have to be changed to blink orange, not red. This is a requirement in almost every country I can think of aside from US & Canada. Here in Australia LHD cars are permitted too, under certain circumstances, but if the indicators don't blink orange they always have to be changed in order to be legal to drive. I can only assume that this car is a "fresh" import (i.e. pretty much right off the boat, or never been registered), and has yet to have the indicators changed. -- Last edit: 2013-11-04 09:03:32 |

That's a genuine 2009 NZ registration plate. I've seen quite a few US imports over here with red indicators, I don't know whether they are legal or not in NZ though. |
