![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I thought all Lotus Carltons were Imperial Green so this is either a fake or one that has been resprayed. To confuse matters a second one in the same colour is used by the bad guy: ![]() ![]() ![]() This one is a fake, I think, it is also switched with the main for the action scenes. |

I can't see any Lotus badging (eg front wings) and doesn't have tints, so agree fake - but a pretty good bodykit. |

Hi this is my first post! Imagine this I put a search in on google images for a Lotus Carlton and to my surprise see a photo of a Lotus Carlton that was used in the tv series Sharman. The funny thing is that I own that Lotus Carlton and can confirm that it is a real one!! I have owned it for 13 years and the build number is 912. It is also back in its original Imperial green paint work. I would be very interested to find out anymore history about my car |

Thanks for posting. Strange that L578 SCD doesn't appear on the DVLA database, is it not on the road anymore? |

I was informed the reason that the car was repainted from the original colour of Imperial Green was that it was considered too dark for the t.v cameras. As you can see from the stills, it was mostly seen at night!. |

Shouldn't this be origin Germany made in UK as it is based on the Opel Omega/Vauxhall Carlton? |
