From the auction details ^^ - Chassis #S900939, the 939th to be built from of a total production of 19,992 Mk1 (rhd & lhd) between Sept 1955 and Sept 1959 and could be one of earliest 2.4 Saloons still in road-worthy condition. Restored in 1990s, and well known car for show and retro event appearances. I’ve now seen it several times in the last month parked outside a garage workshop near a main road to the North Norfolk coast. It doesn’t seem to be there now but I would guess it now resides in this area. Here’s hoping it will take part in a local classic car show or two. |
