Seems unlikely, because Toyota marketed the 86 as the Scion FR-S in North America. It did not get rebranded as the Toyota 86 until the 2017 model year, after Scion went defunct in 2016.
dhill_cb7 ◊ 2022-01-13 04:57	A common mod (Acura's too) here in American is to rebadge their Luxury level marques as their JDM or EU common parts. I know with the Acura Integra, Legend ect a lot of car guys will take off the Acura badge and add Honda ones.
