Looks like 2 different ones were used in the movie. The main image (as well as thumbnail 1 & 2) are 1989 525i models, due to the older headlights and mirrors. The third thumbnail, however, is a 1995 model, since it has the side repeater and painted rocker panel. I'm assuming it's also a 525i since it has the same wheels. Note that in the USA, this colour "Cinnabar Red" was only available on 535i in 1989. I guess Canada was different. Seems to be a rare colour, as we have very few on this site in this colour.
